Liver Disease Foundation: The American Liver Foundation cordially invites you to attend the premiere auction benefit of the year� BID for BACHELORS. Please join us and meet the Valley�s most prominent bachelors Friday, August 25th, 2006. At 630PM Complimentary Hors D�Oeuvres, Meet the Bachelors, Silent Auction Begins. At 8PM Bidding Begins. Held at The Caleo Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, 925 N Scottsdale Rd (Special Room rate available for the event). Tickets $50 general admission, $100 VIP includes reserved seating and complimentary glass of champagne and other goodies. Cocktail attire suggested, 21 and over event.
Breast Cancer: The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation was established in 1982 by Nancy Brinker to honor the membory of her sister who died from breast cancer at the age of 36. Spend a few hours, take a walk or go for a 5k run and help support breast cancer research. One day it may save your life or the life of a loved one. Details: Sunday, October 14th at 7am, meet at Patriot�s Park at the registration table. See dates and details for directions. Cost: Sign up and get info on the web, race4curephx.org. Fundraisers for Muscular Dystrophy: Dan AKA Panama Red and Rachelle AKA Kiki L' Amour and their Mexican Gorilla, Chico are being arrested and charged with too many trips to the water fountain, taking long breaks and having way to much fun at parties. The honorable Judge Ray Mean has set their bail at 1200.00. We are asking each of our members to donate to our cause and get them out!! Suggested donation is $25.00, but of course anything will help! All proceeds will go to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Arrest will take place, April 10th at 3:00pm. Feel free to donate in advance by calling, e-mail, or stop by the Barmouche Restaurant.
Fundraisers for walks for �no kill� shelters: JOIN THE A2K TEAM FOR A GREAT CAUSE!!!!Power Paws Assistance Dogs is proud to announce the 2005 Walk `n Roll at Tempe Town Lake. Join us for a non-competitive 5K Walk and Wheelchair Roll! Bring your friendly pooch, too! All proceeds will benefit Power Paws Assistance Dogs, Inc. to continue providing assistance dogs to empower people with disabilities. All registered participants will be entered into a drawing for the morning of the event. You must be present to win.
Children�s Charity: Adventures 2000 teams up with Azul & Borrego At Spectrum Apartment Homes in Gilbert to sponsor a children�s charity. Instead of a cost to host the event, teddy bears will be donated for these special children. Details coming�
